Aircfraft goes crazy after start up

Hi everyone, let me start by saying how much I love P51D, something about the lack of buttons to push maybe?

 

My problem is when I start an mission in the air, as soon as I click the tick to start, the aircraft goes into a wild spin. Have looked at all my controller settings and they seem fine, has this happened to anyone before?

 

Running WARTHOG HOTAS and CH Pro pedals.

What happens when you start on the runway? Have you looked at the in game control indicator (RCtrl + Enter I think)?

What happens if you disconnect all your controllers & start mid-air ? still a spin ?

Sounds like unwanted axis input. Post a track when you have the chance.

Thanks Cichlid and Weta. Did a hot start on the runway and its the left rudder, its being depressed full and when I give it a nudge it centralises. Tried to rectify by axis settings and in the Ch Pedals setup, no joy.

Seriously go through your controller settings. It still is most likely a conflict. Try disconnecting your rudder pedals and run the sim.

 

Remember, there are keyboard controls for the rudder as well and if something is sending that key when you start up.

 

Do you have the 'synchronize controllers' box checked?

Air Start Landing Lights and wheel well closing bang

Thanks for the responses. I still am not sure what caused this but I suspect it was a conflict issue. I unplugged all controllers and after re-attaching them its working fine. Thanks for all your help.
