BoneSaw Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Okay I must be an idiot. But in World I don't get the Beeeeeeeep and Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep when I am pulling a lot of Gs in a turn. Is this a new feature? Is there some knob I need to adjust? When I try to adjust the knobs on the back left panel which used to control the volume of these indicators in the stand alone version they no longer turn. I figure I must be missing a master switch somewhere.
BoneSaw Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 Why was this moved? I don't have this issue in the stand alone version, I have this issue in The world version.
Hamblue Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Are you able to stall the plane? Also make sure you don't have one of the settings to game mode. Like avaionics and flight Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600. Samsung 830, 256 gig hard drive, GTX780 Video Card, Warthog Hotas, Razer Mamba mouse. Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals. Trackir 5, Verizon FIOS 25Meg Up/Down
roob Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 IIRC the long beep is a warning that the aircraft, let's just for simplicity say, is close to stalling and the short beeps are indications of AoA over it's limit for sustained flight. I'm not entirely sure. My DCS stream [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Past broadcasts, Highlights Currently too much to do... But watch and (maybe) learn something :)
112th_Rossi Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Long Beep = Close to aerodynamic limits Intermittent Beeps = Limits exceeded, stall is iminent.
