Set up repairing airfield with the mission editor

Yo,

 

I already searched on the forum but didn't really find anything, that's pretty surprising. When you make a mission, how can you allow an airfield to repair/refuel jets when they land on it?

 

I set it blufor, put trucks and stuff and I don't really understand, it appears to work randomly it's really weird, when I open my repair menu "LAlt + ù" the ground crew sometimes answers "Copy" and sometimes not.

 

I can't figure it out and I've not been able to find any proper explanation about it.

Click on the field in question, and select the appropriate faction from the drop-down list to the right. :)

That's all that's required I think (plus make sure it has stores available).

 

You know you have to speak on the interphone to talk to the groud crew, right?

Well, as I said ye I open my repair menu by pressing LAlt+ù then ask for repairing/refueling so my player is saying "request refueling/rearming" then sometimes the ground crew answers me "copy" and I'm therefor being repaired/refueled whereas sometimes nothing happens.

 

And I can't figure it out at all.

When your canopy is open, the ground crew will respond (copy) to your demand. Same when you put your switch on the left console to "int" (=intercom)

Not sure if this is still an issue or not but in the previous release sometime i have to movethe aircraft forward just a little (1/2 meter or so) and all of a sudden the cround crew would start responding to all the calls. this wasn't all the time but only some time when they would not answer even though i had the INTCOM on and even when the canopy was open. Maybe give it a try next time the crew does not answer, move the aircraft slightly forward and listen for the crew to respond.

If you try to refuel the Su-25T it needs the flaps down all the way, engines stopped and cockpit open. Also try it out with ground power connected!

Thanks for the answers guys, apparently I just had to open my canopy, it works everytime now :)
