5.1 audio ???

Hello,

I couldn't resist and bought BS 2.

 

I just quickly try instant action, but I don''t hear anything from my rear speakers. I didn't find any special settings for surround in menu.

 

Any help???

No problem here - there are no particular settings in DCS for it.

 

When you have configured your system to use a 5.1 mode in the windows sound settings it will be automatically on in DCS.

 

I'm using a 7.1 setting of my on-board sound via a realtek driver. - and just also checked if it works also in 5.1. - and it does in DCS 1.2.0. :)

When you got it sorted ...

 

I highly advise you to have a look at this:

I have this mod now for only 1.5 hours on my system...

But I can say up to now that it is 200% better than the stock sound...

I have a 5.1 surround sound and have no issues with DCS World. Thanks for pointing out that sound mod PeterP :thumbup: I do not check the mods section too often because Its usually unclear what mods work for what version.
