Just to be sure, have you verified that you used the appropriate module? That is, "Upgrade" or "Full" module?

Which version of BS2 did you have installed prior to attempting to activate the BS2 World module? Not apparent from your ticket.

 

In instances such as these, we usually advise that you delete the relevant registry key and activate again once the correct BS2 module is installed.

We still need to confirm which version of BS2 you had installed prior to installing world, ie BS2 Full or BS2 Upgrade from BS1 version?

Oh. I can't remember which setup I used.

I already owned the original BS on Steam, so I purchased the upgrade version.

I'm guessing that's what I would have downloaded and installed.

I just realised - your post #4 above referring to a module you installed is not a module at all but the standalone previous version.

 

You need to install the BS2 Upgrade module to DCS World as found here:

Aslo remember that you have to have BS1 installed and activated prior to installing the BS2 Upgrade module to DCS World.

Ok, I am downloading the upgrade module now.

One problem I forsee is that my original copy of DCS:BS is in steam, which required no activation when I ran it.

 

Will that be a problem?

No - just make sure it's there so the BS2 install can confirm it's validity and you'll be good to go :)

Thanks for the help thus far.

My internet connection is playing up at the moment, I left the file downloading overnight and it only got though 5%.

Once my connection is normal again I'll get it downloaded and get back to you.

 

EDIT: Downloaded, deleted existing BS2 key from reg, installed, activated.

Everythings running great now, thanks for the help!
