Razor5-1 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I seem to get a flickering screen, when i'm near an airport. I know there are other threads about flickering screens but mine happens only when I am landing/taking off/overflying.
PeterP Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 My first guess: Your System runs out of V-ram. Its funny that you post a thread in the Video Corruption and Related Card Issues section and don't mention at all what system re using and in-game settings. Please post it.

PeterP Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 ...and you using how-many screens with how many exports in what in game settings and on what Operating System? ...how much V-Ram has your Ati HD 5770? ...running on "low" - Is the flicker also there?
Razor5-1 Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) 1 screen, Windows 7, 1GB of V Ram. Settings are custom i'm trying to add settings screenshot, It happens on low too, It seems more likely to happen in the evening and night time. Edited August 28, 2012 by Razor5-1
PeterP Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 flicker means black screen or artefacts? Does it happen only in-cockpit or also in the F2 view? and in which module? Any mods installed that can made responsible for it?
Razor5-1 Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 I'm sorry but i'm not sure what you mean by artefacts? when it flickers it's like the monitor was turned off and on again in a fraction of a second. Using DCS World 1.2, Only mod is Riccardo's HD pit. Doesn't happen in any external views. But it happens in P-51 cockpit too, not ka-50 or A-10
Kuky Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Does it happen with HDR turned off in game? Razor5-1 Posted August 29, 2012 Author Posted August 29, 2012 No it has stopped since I turned off HDR, But now I get 20 frames less and my game takes twice as long to load! I don't understand how I get worse performance? :(

I don't understand how I get worse performance? :( HDR is quite demanding ingame, does indeed eat framerates, and is rendering more lighting effects. https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
