Thank You.

I have brought the threads to the attention of the Testers responsible for FC3 missile testing to have a look.

Some key elements I saw in the youtube vid earlier, the sun, flares, chaff, beaming, evasive maneuvers, angle of launch and a great deal of luck. These are all valid reasons as to why missiles miss, the likleyhood of missiles losing track is down to what value ED deems correct. Who are we to judge.

Also being patient when in an advantageous position pays off, this way you make sure that you fire at the best possible parameters and conserve your weapons eg. not while in a high G turn or on a bandits 3/9 line.

I understand the op's gripe though, when faced with the battle against aimless active missiles that seem to aquire targets so easily from huge angles off its nose at such short range and have such great detonation range, while other missiles seem to need to actually hit the aircraft to score a kill. It's our lot and we try and deal with it.

On the last part concerning detonation range, keep in mind that the more recent missile types such as the AMRAAM and RVV-AE have more efficient warheads of expading rod type and therefore have their proximity fuse set to a longer distance than older types with blast fragmentation type warheads - even if the actual explosive charge of these is larger.

Track is weird, all I could watch is Vecko doing reckless taxing, getting shot down and crashing...?? maybe I messed it up while fast-forwarding non combat scenes ?

This is not Veckos track,it is track of the =4c=Ragnarok.Vecko has unfortunately deleted his track.Thats why I did unlock external views and labels.Use F2 to find Vecko and what has happend.

I think we all, players and ED,shud work together to make it better. Not yust to enter on server and try to deal with it. Nobody is almighty. Many times has happend that whole team of experts do some protection software, and an 15 years old kid find the way to avoid all security measures. We players shud share our experiences with developers and that way help them to make it better.

I am thrying that all my posts on this forum goes that way.
