Hi everyone,

 

just picked up dcs a10c and downloaded dcs world.

 

I cant seem to join dcs world? everytime i log in it crashes to the desktop.

 

would this be a problem with my thrustmaster hotas warthog ? just got all the kit today to start to learning curve of dcs..

Can you post your computer spesifications? What windows version, and are you on 32 bit or 64 bit OS?

I have a 3960x @ 5.1ghz, 64gig of ripjawsz ram, gtx 680 2gb, I have dcs on a ocz revodrive.

 

I am running x64 of windows 7 ultimate.

 

I might run through the install again.

 

before I installed dcs world I already had the standalone dcs a10c installed.

 

should I uninstall the standalone dcs a10c and then reinstall it ? does it need to be installed into same directory as the dcs world?

Try installing with Admin Rights..

 

You don't have to un-install the standalone.

Hello :)

 

It's a known problem with master server login. You can try this:

Or You can go for the training missions/tracks and learn the systems :), while an upcoming DCS World version will hopefully solve this.

bit confused with dcs world and then the other a10c install :)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, You mean 'You can't join Multiplayer'..?

 

For DCS: World then the DCS: World Shortcut

 

For DCS: A-10C then the SP Icon.

 

For A-10C in DCS: World then you need to install the DCS:A-10C module.

Separate shortcut? On desktop? Did You install this DCS A-10C ?

If yes, in DCS World you only have to choose the rightful mission or campaign separator for singleplayer. For multiplayer you just click "Multiplayer" and enter a server that have A-10C slots available.

Download and it will install into DCS: World by itself.

 

When you are in the Main Screen you will see a load of icons on the bottom.

 

the modules you do not have installed will have a dollar sign.

You only have to download and install. It will search for DCS World absolute path.
