HiJack Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 And I recomend a joystick as flying with keyboard or a XBOX controller will bring only missory. If you got the cash for it add also a TrackIR 5 to get realy great field of view. A lot of examples on youtube on both sticks and trackir. (HJ)
Pyroflash Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I would recommend a system with at least a Core I7, AMD HD 58xx/Nvidia 4xx series, Windows 7 64-bit, At least 6GB RAM, At least 20GB of space available for initial installation + future modules (which typically run between 0.5-1 GB apiece in addition to the base DCS World.), Direct X 9.0C compatible sound, Internet (required), Saitek X52 or equivalent HOTAS (at a minimum), and a Track IR. These are current minimum requirements that will result in a fairly good looking and playable experience that will meet you with decent accessibility as well. However they are not the absolute minimum requirements to run the game, which as described above by Falcon. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
