Is this what the new sun is supposed to look like?

Hey guys, I didn't know if this is a bug so i'm posting it here.

 

The sun looks pretty bad on my computer, i've seen screenshots where the sun has the rays that it used to have when it was bigger.

 

EDIT: HDR also not working.

 

I was running the sim for this screenshot with the HIGH preset on the options and my computer specs are on my signature, let me know if i'm doing something wrong.

Thanks peterP another thing i just noticed was that HDR is not working for me, I haven't played in a week, i'm on the latest version of world and i never noticed that.

PeterP, there's no current fix for this? i couldn't really find any answers, I will just turn off HDR since it's not working anyways. Thank you for the reply.

So while I was testing my ATC mod i did a mission with just the A-10C flying towards batumi and the sun actually looked great, no HDR though because i had it turned off but i was shocked that it worked because there was no AI.

 

I wasn't running helios but i did have the monitor set up the same as with helios.

This is what the sun looks like with HDR turned off. If HDR is on but not functioning you will get a bloom based sun, without the HDR effects (as seen in OPs attachment).
