Reactor1's PDF panels in either .dxf or .dwg

Does anyone have a copy of these panels in cad format? Pref .dxf or .dwg?

Adobe Illustrator should be able to export it in those formats. Just download the 30 day trial to convert them.

@Outlaw - the files have text included and would take some time removing it from each PDF files. It can be removed from the DXF file later. See the attached and let me know if this works for you.

Deacon, not sure what I'm looking at. I tried opening the file with "Free File Viewer" and I just see lines of numbers and text. I also tried viewing the file with AutoCAD WS, which is a free version of AutoCAD, but it would not open the file. I tried converting one of the pdfs using http://www.convertpdftodwg.com and it just gave me the three panels in white with no text.

 

I would like to have files of the panels to bring to a CNC shop for them to cut and engrave. Does anyone have a file that contains all the layers and panels in a dxf or dwg format?

if you are taking them to get lasercut/engraved then for most guys a pdf will suffice.

The PDF's are also fine for someone doing CNC work for you. They should be able to convert with no issues. I don't mind conveting them, just want to make sure you can use them.

I've been speaking with a shop here locally and he requested the files be in dxf of dwg format. Maybe I should try someone else.

Email him the "test" file. If he can open it, we're good to go and I will convert all of them. Let me know if that helps

Deacon, which panel did you convert? Does it contain all three layers and text on the face plate?

I see that some of you panel builders are/were selling panels for around $30-50. Is there anyone still making and selling panels on this site or another site? I went to one shop and showed him some printed out panels and he said they would cost about $100 a panel. WAY too high of a price per panel. I'm afraid anyone I go to out here is going to charge the same. I'd like to support forum members anyway. So if anyone gets back into making panels let me know.

Outlaw, i will make another panelrun if there are enough people who want to have panels.

I now have the CDU,UFC and VHF panels ready as well, but i need to make some test before i can sell them.
