Hi guys, is there a way to view from my aircraft externally to the enemy aircraft and vice versa?

 

I just flew my first 1v1 with the ai and he nearly pulled my pants down lol cos i didn't realise that we would engage as soon as i loaded the mission :doh:. I like to use this view so that i can watch the track from my point of view and his to see where i go wrong (when i loose sight of the target) and make myself better!

 

I was very lucky, he would have owned me but he crashed into the ground so i was very lucky :D

Just press F5. If there are more planes near you, keep pressing F5 repeatedly until you are looking towards the plane you wish.

 

If you want to look towards yourself from the enemy plane, first use F2 to cycle between all planes in the mission. When you have the enemy plane selected, just use F5 like before.

 

You can also "padlock" the enemy when in cokpit view by usin NumPad DEL. Use NumLock to reset padlock.

Shift+F4 then zoom in/out to your liking - pretty neat perspective.

Is there a way to stop the camera jiggle in F2 external view? The camera zooms in and out, and moves around on its own. LShift + J which is how camera jiggle is mapped in my Options settings, does not stop the camera movement.

There needs to be a checkbox to remove it. Period.
