"Fire at Point" broken in DCS World?

I can not get infantry or a GRAD truck to fire at point. Why is the task in the mission editor if the units can't use it?

And now suddenly it works... By now I moved the unit somewhere else, added some other units to it, deleted the units again, set skill to exellent, back to average and somehow it works. Man DCS ME makes me crazy.

Some artillery have a minimum required distance from target in order to work.

 

 

As for infantry, its my understanding that Fire at Point currently only works for artillery units and its been reported as an issue.

It'd be great to see a circle for that minimum distance. :-/

Yup... where can one see that minimum distance values per unit?

 

I struggled the other day to make the katiusha fire in mission... :huh:

feature requested but I think it will be low priority given everything else that is being worked on at the moment. That said, ED have surprised me before with a feature suddenly appearing. It's all down to dev workload and feature simplicity I guess.
