cichlidfan Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I strongly feel that it is way overpriced! Shipping just makes it worse. *Rage* Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 I have it installed and love it. [ATTACH]72914[/ATTACH] How is the warthog fixed to it? If by velcro tape is it sturdy enough? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 64th "Scorpions" Aggressor Squadron Discord: 64th Aggressor Squadron TS: 195.201.110.22
tintifaxl Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 How is the warthog fixed to it? If by velcro tape is it sturdy enough? I've used the two little velcro strips that came with each clamp. For me that's enough, but I don't yank the joystick around. :joystick: Windows 10 64bit, Intel i9-9900@5Ghz, 32 Gig RAM, MSI RTX 3080 TI, 2 TB SSD, 43" 2160p@1440p monitor.
MTFDarkEagle Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 My pit is inspired on that kit ;) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
Cyb0rg Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I have it installed and love it. [ATTACH]72914[/ATTACH] TM warthog is the best joystick i ever had, still IMO one of his major faults it's the lack of ergonomic. Your setup looks really nice, but theres no arm support. Having the stick in a position without supporting my arm it's a no go for me. My elbow can't stand the efford to a point that can't move my arm, making impossible doing ordinary things like drive! The last time this happen, took 3 days until get better again and able to do my normal life. Since then i have the stick between my legs!! :D And now iam able to fly 1 or 2 hours a day. JaBoG32_Prinzartus Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 It's overpriced, but does its job. You might consider building something similar yourself. I personally like them and will keep them until I have my Obutto R3volution. Panthro Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Just make your own or make your pit include a wing panel ;) [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic86362_2.gif[/sIGPIC]
MTFDarkEagle Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 i like the joy loc to bad i cant get them in the netherlands would be way overpriced to ship them to here Yep! I 100% agree with you. Just make your own :) You can then tailor it to your own pit and include other features you want, such as a monitor mount, like I did :) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
Sci2 Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) Yep! I 100% agree with you. Edit: I have visited the metal company next to my work and they have a school inthere for kids that cant function on a normal work floor but can do alot of good things with their hands i offerd them my drawing of a exact copy of the joyloc and they think its a great chance to give the kids there a chance and il be paying for the material being used so i expect it to be 30 or 40 euro's :D Edited November 9, 2012 by Sci2 [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic90574_1.gif[/sIGPIC] Australasian Gaming Community Specs: Intel Quad 2.4GHz -- Geforce GTX 560 Duo -- SSD HDD -- 8Gb Mem -- 23" led -- 17"touch -- Logitech G940 Flight System --JoyLocs-- TIR 5 -- Cougar MFD'S -- Helios -
