For the life of me I cannot find the "Fence In / Out" commands as described in the manual.

Does Easy Communications take out some of the comm options?

No. Easy communications simply means you do not have to manually set the radio frequency and use the right radio.

As far as I remember these commands were removed with 1.2.1 or 1.2.0

To what end, or for what reason? Redundant? Unrealistic?

I honestly haven't played with AI elements enough to know why that would be removed.

Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.

Again as far as I remember it was removed because AI didn't do the right actions for a fence in, so the command was rather useless. But I could be completely wrong here.

I have only started from the most recent 1.2.x version of DCS A10, OK, question, How do you get your Flight to turn Nav lights out on a sortie?

Turn off your lights - they will match yours. Note AI detection is affected by lights. Enemies will see you sooner if you have them all on.

Nate, I have tried that but they still keep theirs on? I use the HOTAS Pinky Centre command to turn them off, is this the correct way, or am i doing something wrong?
