FC3 needs a dedicated forum (like other components)

You are looking for the Lock On forum. This deals with FC, since it is a continuation of LOMAC.

Yes, but it now installs as a component of DCS World...depends on how you look at it...

I agree, FC3 is now DCS module and not standalone product, hence it should be part of DCS forum

No it is not a "DCS Module". There is a distinction between being a "DCS product" and being a "DCS World module". Being the latter does not necessitate the former.

These forums are a real mess.. there has been no re organisation since DCS World was introduced. It seriously needs some management.

 

There are still subjects in A10c subsections that are general World issues and such similar issues all over the site. Whenever this subject is brought up it is dismissed. probably because the people who moderate the forums know them so well they don't see the issues, other who don't live on here 24/7 see a different picture.

 

It really is not a difficult job to do.. i fail to see the reluctance.

I would have DCS World as main part then DCS World Modules as sub menu, which should be split into ED Produced Modules for DCS (which should have DCS Ka-50, DCS A-10C, DCS P-51D, CA and FC3) and 3rd part DCS World modules (beczl's DCS MiG-21Bis, IRIS, RAZBAM, VEAO etc)

 

I don't think FC3 should be mixing with LOMAC, FC1 & FC2 any more.

I know from speaking to users in our TS that the merged forum fc2/3 is confusing for them especially mods and so on.

Good to see the su-25 and the a-10a getting its own sub forum

 

If only they would separate FC3 from the lock on forum it would save a lot of confusion.

 

Still good to see these individual ones being sorted :)
