Diemos Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Reposting this to it's own thread, because I'd like some response, please... Is there a minimum footprint required of the FC1 installation for the proof of purchase check? For example, if I install FC1 to the HDD (and thereby, the registry entries), can I then manually delete all files but the .EXE and still pass the check, or do I have to keep all the files on the HDD? I do understand that I can uninstall FC1 after FC3 is installed, but if I can keep just the .EXE installed at a few MB rather than reinstalling FC1 for any given FC3 installation...

Keep all the files until you have installed FC3. Once you have installed FC3 then you can uninstall FC1 in it's entirety. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career?
