I am sorry if my statement was unclear. Swingkid 'translated' it correctly though. I meant that pressing keyboard buttons is not the exactly same what the real pilot does in the cockpit. Same for mouse controls.

We are trying to make functions in the cockpit much closer to what it looks in the reality for a Ka-50 pilot.

Ну все, прекращаю мои провокации, а то все от головной боли Тайланолы будут глотать после чтения такой ерунды. Спасибо за ответ. :icon_pidu

(Rhetorical question) How can you take my post and deliberately mingle its meaning? I was not comparing Froggy with Cessna but just disputing your comical reply of two buttons. As previously stated, I want to go through same checklist as pilot of Ka50 using mouse as extension of my simulated arm; that means going though full checklist, and not skipping steps because ‘aircraft was previously piloted’. What is there to dispute about?

I apologize for confusion, but I seriously didn't understand its meaning. If I go right now and jump into a Cessna, activate Master switch and turn ignition, the engine will not start? Why not?

If you want to follow a proper pre-flight checklist, then I'm interested to know - what is preventing you from following such a checklist already now, in Su-25T AFM? There seem to be plenty enough realistic controls and features to do so, if it is wished. If it's only the lack of mouse control, then, ok. But if it's something else, then I fear that whatever it is, that same thing may still prevent you from following checklists in v1.2 Ka-50... even in 100% realistic simulator.

What concerns me is when people ask for "extra complexity," when they don't even know what that complexity is - nevertheless, they expect developer to know.

Hypothetically, if I visit local airfield and attempt to start engine of a T-14A without following a checklist by means of the master switch and the ignition, fuel starvation will not allow me to (assume no water got into fuel system).

Also the reason I do not follow a simplistic Su25's startup procedure is because I have to use keyboard, which I feel does not help immersion of being there, it just hinders it. Recalling what a certain function does just further kills it. Now was it CTRL-ALT-PAGE UP to turn something on? Why can’t I look at the cockpit and flick a switch on?
