zaelu Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) Groove, I have no idea what happens in the Ka50 because since DCS World 1.2, my performance has been so bad that I have given up DCS and haven't set up my controls for the Black Shark. But I still love the sim and have since Flanker 1. Hope this helps. In Kamov 50 is very easy to see what happens. Rampstart your helicopter or have it already started and then move the stick forward and press and release trim. Stick should stay in the place you had trimmed... literally stay there and you could light up a cigarette. Instead... the stick moves to the left. In options CENTER TRIM should be unticked!! So if you are flying and you try to trim the heli a bit nose down so you could light a cigarette while flying level... when you press/release trim the stick instead of remaining pushed goes left and you roll and crash. I think PeterP made a quite clear movie about the issue long time ago... it scares me that now... after months since this bug was introduced, Groove comes and say... "can you explain what this bug looks like?"... And has nothing to do with stick sensitivity etc... Rotorhead Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 All I ever wanted to hear! http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1657526&postcount=3 Great news, just great! I hope everything will go as planned and this issue will get fixed in 1.2.3. I think we've deserved it already! :)
zaelu Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) here is a small movie I made to exemplify the thing: Note: 1. Center trim is unticked in Misc options. This way the stick stays where it is trimmed not only sets trim then goes to center. If that tick will be checked the problem will still be the same only not visible! 2. The trim button is the Thumb button on the stick... I press it with my index in the video and I point to it at start. (Sorry... although I can speak english I rather not, I prefer you see the problem instead of ROTFL at my accent etc. :P ) 3. The reset trim is the pinkie switch 8caSmIlNsvc You can se that I trim nose down and the sticks instead of staying where I trim goes to the left. Towards the end I try to trim in different positions and still it goes in other directions (actually the movement is mirrored on XoY axes). And sorry I couldn't film whole scene and have to move the camera up down... it is my phone and I have no stand for it. Watari Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Stick: logitecch force pro Ka 50 i have x52pro and after 1 year i want to pimp my cockpit and bought that logitech stick. its not bad and the resistance gave me a better feeling BUT i also turning to the left and the aircraft trim doesnt work. i feel the "zeroing" when i release the trim button but the aircraft dont stay in that position! if i release the stick the nose goes violent up i tried all workarounds ive found in that forum: 1. delete x52pro folder in scripts folder 2. deinst logitech utility 3. config with and without deadzones and saturations ... nothing works. The next weird thing is that the stick shakes like crazy when i dont touch the stick :joystick: . What the hell??? thats only in A-10C/ka50. not in racing games, IL, BMS, apache .... the shark is not flyable with that behaviour :( :matrix: =SPEED IS LIFE=:matrix: http://www.planeandpilotmag.com/speed-is-life.html
EtherealN Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Watari, note the linked post above yours. :) In the mean time, you can disable ffb in options screen as a workaround. Watari Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 yes i know im not grounded because of my x52 but i tried the same config in shark 1.1.1.1 and it was completly the same. im not really sure if thats in my case the actual build issue. i hope so cause i simply have to wait then :-) :matrix: =SPEED IS LIFE=:matrix: http://www.planeandpilotmag.com/speed-is-life.html
EtherealN Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 If the same problem occurs in v1.1.1.1 it is not a build issue. At least not a known one, afaik.
