Im into DCS helis since BS1 and had some RL hours in the R22. The Apache is a bitch I developed a habit that made the apache failry stable and enjoyable.: Dont depress FTB, just spam like in the BS. I use Att hold all the time but turn it off for manouvering and on right after. Regulary reset the trim . Dont no why but i have the impression its less wobbling and oversensitive. In short: trim,trim, att hold off, manouver, trim att hold on trim trim, reset trim, trim .... repeat Only small inputs. I found it funny that george is flying even worse than I. That guy must be drinking in the back. So AI is struggling with the FM too. I have a TM WH with extension. no curves

Hi Guys I already searched the www but could find an specific guide for my plan. I want to bind a Button on my wh hotas to switch on/Off a fan plugged in on powered USB Hub. (Fan for mi8/mi24) How to realize that? Thanks

I really like the apache too. For us rotor heads a longawaited module. Honestly I have to say I have more fun with my beloved Mi8. In the apache you mostly hover and snipe. If you get in weapon range they headshot you out of the pit in no time. I like the diversity of the mi8. troup insertion, sling loads, gunship tasks, transports,CAS,,,, A very good module. I guess i will love the chinnok too. Anyway a very good work from ED. Maybe we get a good campaign. I guess that apache with a human cpg is also more fun

Hi fellow apache pilots, cheers ED So we all know george is sometimes not firing. For me is george the biggest issue with the Apache. I also hope ED rethink the idea with the slave option. I hope on something like a free fire or fire at will/ target of opportiunity option. Something like in the F14. George is not a bad gunner but often he wont accept to engage targets at the slaved area. Its very frustrating to fumbling with george and fly or hold the heli stable. IT would bei much better if he search on His own for targets and wait for your fire clearance. Also the menuwheel is not very practical cause you need already looots of buttons. I hope on upcoming updates ...

I dont have big problems with the av8b. I didnt known why so many ppl have that big issues. i have the a10 since release and was very exited for the release of the av8b to replace my old hog. yeah i was disappointed too but i came back at the jdam update and im very happy with the module. we know things happens slowly at razbam but i dont have big issues in sp and very small coop sessions. anyway the tpod has something going on. sometimes the slave function works perfect and keeps overperfect in the spot no matter how hard i work the plane in turns. sometimes it keeps boresight. i work alot with wpt overfly option. i hope they will keep improving the av8b

I had the exact same problem with the pit before vr in 2d. The only solution was to go back to Ricardos a10 worn pit mod, but that doesn't solves the hud problem really well. The a10 is a blast in vr. Maybe it's time for vr in the hog. I have a Lenovo explorer headset only for 100 bugs and it works awesome ????

dont stare on your mfds. look wtf is going outside. thats a gamechanger. then use hud soi > mark Point or better mark for yourself with a Phosphor smoke rocket. lot of cool a10 "Pilot Things" possible. yeah and read "a10s over Kosovo". its free. you´ll wont regret it

i´m since 1 month into vr and i have absolut no issues anymore with the new pit and hud. seat position and hud size works perfect and very clear. seams like the new textures are more vr optimized

Hi guys. Sometimes I still have the problem that the release cue disappear in ag mode with bombs selected. I'm fly mostly in SP. I think it has something to do with time acceleration. I love my tomcat and fly it exclusive sine release but atm I have the feeling that issues even get worse. I don't know what jester is doing but nothing with the radar. He can't lock tgts I can see with my eyes! Honestly I have also a hard time see and lock tgts when I'm the Rio. Yeah and the autothrottle issue sucks as well. Long story short does anyone know when we get some updates for the cat. Salut

Hi guys. Im searching all resources for the possibility to slave the tgt cue to a wp or a coordinate like the hornet wp-bombing. Like a preplanned strike on coordinates. Didnt find any instructions. Does someone know how to do that in the tomcat?

Best module for me by far. After over 10 years of dcs i love to always to come back to the fish. No hud, no fancy mfd stuff, no spamming just pure jet aviation with speed and nukes

Absolutly!! The more modules i own the more i love the hog. I have it since beta times so i think 10(!) years or something. I have to admit im a pure ground pounder. Im not into that PVP A2A so the hog is my first choice and probably will ever be. The wide range of weapons is incredible. Well flying from A to B and fooling around is much more fun in a hornet but when you need to blow stuff ist simply one choice. The Hotas workflow is much better than in the hornet and av8. In some seconds you have your mavs on tgt and down in the mud. It seems the whole DCS world is designed around it also. The quali campaigns the CA etc. Everything fits perfect with the hog. im really waiting for the final step that makes it complete: the Pilot Body :-D
