Need Bullseye Call practice

Ive downloaded both MIZ files (BBH2 & BULLRUN2) I could find to practice bullseye calls. I have my radios setup, but I never get the calls that the briefing decribes. I see in BULLRUN2 that he has what appears to be a typ error in his briefing calling for Ground attack Colt 4 to be on "251 FM" since that is an invalid FM frequency, I assume its the UHF channel, so I set it so. I cruise along for over a half hour with no calls, I am able to communicate with JTAC.

 

I went into the mission editor for BULLRUN2 and cant find much of anything to view channel assignments for confirmation etc, Im not versed well enough to add Drones or ground forces for JTACS etc to create my own. Does anyone know any low difficulty missions available to primarily practice Bullseye calls? Thanks

How old is this mission? There was a bug introduced in a recent patch which caused JTACs to "switch off" if they ran out of waypoints and under this bug if a JTAC starts a mission with only one waypoint this effectively means he switches off right at mission start.

 

Could be whats making you hear nothing. Is there even a JTAC entry in the radio menu? If there's a JTAC active on the map then he will appear in the menu, even if you don't have his freq set, and with that above mentioned bug the radio menus show no JTAC options.

 

If its an invalid freq then that could be just a quick fix in the mission editor. If you open the mission up the maker may have made all the units "hidden" which means you have to un-hide them in order to edit them, or look them up on the total unit list and access them that way.

 

This game is unfortunately extremely hard on missions through updates. Might just have to link it and have somebody open it up for you.

I suspected it may be due to the age of the missions, these missions were created over a year ago, When this sim came out, I bought it and started training, shortly there after, my PC died and it took me about 8 months or so to put another together, so I am back at training to refresh myself. I know BBH2 worked at the time, its not now though,,, I suspect its because it was made some time ago, as you mentioned. Thanks for the feedback.
