Thrustmaster Cougar Microstick For DCS World

I have looked all over fourms trying to get the microstick to work in DCS World. I have tried using TARGET for the cougar. Also tried using the axies and mouse control. Can someone give help on making it works. Thanks for your help. :helpsmilie:

Is it visible as an axis in DCS world? Then you basically have to go into DCS axis commands and look for TDS Slew horizontal, vertical and then in there...assign it.

 

Sorry..I don't have the cougar, but have the warthog. I mapped my microstick for FC3 planes in a similar way.

No, it isn't seen by DCS World as an axis/axes :(

I've tried this type of mapping

MIX 3 Target_Designator_Left ^ Target_Designator_Right

MIY 3 Target_Designator_Down ^ Target_Designator_Up

but it winds up being too sensitive in FC3, but it is ok in BS2.

Have you checked the HOTAS Cougar Control Panel to make sure the microstick axes haven't been reassigned?

This is from an older FC2 file i use, just give it a try and see what it does:

 

Setup the mouse onto the microstick. You can increase the values in the brackets to make the mouse more responsive.

Edit 1: there should be no space between 98 and ) but i've done that here otherwise it shows a smiley...:huh:

Edit 2: Dunno if this works with TARGET because it comes from the Foxy software.

Edit 3: Haven't really experimented much with this since i flew only the A-10A for 99% of my time
