wallace Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Hey there folks... Hope that this the right section to post this question. I have YouTubed the setup and there is some great stuff out there but I have a problem which I am sure is an easy fix. Ok: I have added a third monitor as well as the lillys. All are up and running. Monitor 1&3 are slightly smaller than my center monitor but I thought if I mapped the screen to the main monitor 1080, rather than the 1060 then the game will display correctly on my center monitor and my sides which are meant to be floating will work even though some of the display is "off monitor". I have my system default monitor as my center. When I config the LUA I have mapped everything out but I am stumped before I start as the game is not booting my left monitor... the screen starts on my center and stretches to the right and onto the Lillys but I cant get my left monitor to work. I have tried mapping the start point in the LUA to -1680 which I thought would move it over but it does nothing. Any ideas please?
Kuky Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 You have to set your main monitor as most top/left monitor in windows desktop settings. All other monitors have to be placed to the right and/or bellow this main monitor. Physically you can place them any way you like, but in windows desktop properties this is how they need to be setup. SkateZilla Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 yeah, you're gonna have to set your main screen as main, and then the small ones as extended displays. aaron linked to the forum section with guides to do it. funny how alot of stuff gets posted here, i guess they only see the "How To" Subforum title and not the Root section Title. Manuel Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Maybe you can use the software icontrol DCS made by bitshift.com. You don't have an ipad? Well no problem: You can go into the display configurations, wich will automatically change your scripts in DCS. Maybe, that can help with the cougars.
