ENO Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Near Kutaisi.... I've seen this a couple times in this area- quite often just looks like an area of scorched earth... while from a distance it looks more like a crater. Sometimes it's there... sometimes it's not. Shein Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Obviously a bug but a pretty cool one! With a few clever uses of triggers in the ME, you can "simulate" a nuke explosion as well, just FYI
Kuky Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I've never seen something like this... must be some sort of time warp warmhole? Grimes Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 It happens if you trigger a very large explosion. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Speed Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Back in earlier versions of A-10C, it could happen randomly and rarely, but I haven't seen it in a long long time. ENO Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 As mentioned and visable from the two first shots- if you turn your head ever so slightly it kind of washes it out... the screen where it shows it missing... I was screen shooting rapidly just because it was flickering in and out. I have another one very similar but it was much more expansive... taken in an older version of the same mission (earlier patch version- don't remember which exactly). I need to grab it off the other computer- just for the sake of it. It was much, much larger and didn't look as much like a crater- more just like some of the landscape was in a different season or something... Anyway- I just wanted to point it out. Everyone on TS3 in the mission at the time could see it. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. "Sweetest's" Military Aviation Art
