JujuMan Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 When the AI Wingman shuts down their engines, the A10c opens its Maintenance doors when viewing the external view. Can the Players A10 show the same level of detail, i.e. 'maintenance mode'? Looks good. _________________________________________
Evil.Bonsai Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 pretty sure when you're plane is being repaired, it does the same thing.
bradleyjs Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 It does briefly when being repaired -- was testing that yesterday. Marklar Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 I have slightly different question. When my wingman switch its engines off how can I force him to start them again and follow me for another sortie? Such situation happens quite often in campaign mode when I have to RTB for rearming and refueling at least once per mission. i9 13900K; RTX 4090, 64GB RAM. bradleyjs Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Sure wish I knew the answer to that question. I have wanted that to happen too. But, as far as I know, there's no way to "re-spawn" him. Sure hope I'm wrong. Anyone? BigfootMSR Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 There is no way in the game to do this. It would have to be scripted through the mission editor to do so. The quick and dirty way that comes to mine would be to deactivate the first guy, and reactivate by spawning a new unit. Although, since he is part of your wing, I don't know how that would complicate things.
