cameleon33 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Hello Guys, I am just wondering why I cannot see my mates flying on FC3 (F15) on my TAD in DCS:A10C? Is there something specific to do? If I just replace the Client F15 by AI F15, I can see them on the TAD. Cheers, Cam' [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Grimes Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 One of those F-15 know-it-alls can answer this better. But at least within the sim I think only the F-15E can show up on the A-10C Datalink. F-15E has EPLRS (as labeled in the mission editor) and should be on datalink F-15C does not have an EPLRS option and therefore cannot be on datalink. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Madone Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Hmm what about setting the TAD network up? You have to communicate with the client to give a Group ID to him, the own ID doesn't really matter. Because maybe you can only see those in your group? (bug?) Madone Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 I mean, maybe the client aircraft has to be in your own group to be seen? It's weird because anyway it should be seen even if not in your own group. FC3 is still in beta so Strike Posture Set CAS Center of Excellence Intel Core i5 4690k @4,6Ghz, Gigabyte GTX 970 OC, Gigabyte Z97-X, 16GB G Skill Sniper @2400, Samsung 860/850 EVO , Win 10 64 bits, Dual monitors 27"@144"Opentrack + TM Warthog + Saitek pro flight combat
Megagoth1702 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Well I tested some in the ME and only the F15-E shows up in the TAD. The F15C does not. So I don't expect anything else to happen in MP. sobek Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 The thing is that IA flights can be seen on the TAD. Only those that drive airframes that are SADL equipped. IRL there are gateways that work as interfaces between the different datalink systems but this is not implemented in DCS at this point. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! cameleon33 Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 Ok so I guess when I tried in single player, I used F15E and then for my MP mission I put F15C. Thanks all for the answers. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
