Ironhand Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 when one downloads a track to be played in flaming cliffs, how do ya apply it to watch it? After you place the track in the folder you want, either: 1) Click the SHOW button on the Main Menu. Navigate to the track and select it. Or... 2) Open the track in the Mission Editor. Select 'Play Track' from the Flight submenu. (Do not click the FLY button.) If you use Option 1, views will be locked. With Option 2, you can alter views as long as external views weren't locked when the track was created. Guest EVIL-SCOTSMAN Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 just open it like you would open any type of mission, but you just have to remember what dir you saved the file in. Basically, it means hunting threw the menu to get to the dir that you have saved the file in, what this game needs is a browse button that allows you to expand directorys like windows explorer. wouldnt be that hard to implement would it ED ?
Guest ruggbutt Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Yello, if you're gonna reply give him the full answer. Bass, put it in your Missions/Tracks/Demo folder. Then in the main screen choose the Show button on the left. Choose that track and hit the start button.

Guest ruggbutt Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 C'mon man, it's obvious you're trying to get your post count up. ;) At least give the whole answer if you're gonna do so.

Guest ruggbutt Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 It's just kind of disheartening to see some of the guys around here who have given to the community to have a question answered like that. I'm pretty sure that Bass put it "anywhere he liked" and tried to "open it in the editor". There are several different ways to view them, and Bass has all the versions required to let him interact with the track or just to watch it in stock form. Answering a question facetiously is a waste of time for the person asking the question, especially when it's one that isn't a common one (like "how do u drop bombs in the A10"). ;)
