This seems to be to be a bug or maybe just lack of code optimization but may game has an annoying pulsing of Frame Rate. Every 5 seconds or so my frame rate goes from 50 to 8 consistently no matter what mission is being played. So I take it as not a mission problem. Anyone else notice this. Its like the game is looping in its algorithm and hits a rough spot that takes up cpu cycles.

I was in Art of the Kill D#@ it!!!!

Heat. I had the same it seemed my GPU was throttling back the whole time due to heat problems. A simple laptop cooler removed the stuttering. And in case you say but my other games run perfect. Yeah they do but over time you will see the stuttering there too. The drop in FPS is the clock switching from high to low to get the temp cool when it drops 1 degree below the threshold it goes high again and so on

You can test what WarthogSmurf is talking about with a little tool called MSI AfterBurner.

Install it (it runs by default on startup if i remember right) and then alt-tab out of the sim the moment you had one or two of those hickups and check the graphs. You have all sorts of readings like GPU speed, FAN speed, Temp etc...

It will give you an idea on where to search for your problem...

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
