Multiplayer crash when loading mission

It happens when I attempt to join a multiplayer server. After the mission loads the game freezes and crashes to desktop.

 

Singleplayer works fine.

Sometimes the game freezes with sounds when server tries to change (or restart) mission.

Only I have to use CTRL ALT DEL to shut down the game...

We've had the changing mission bug since the start- we've never been able to switch missions from inside the game (unless it's reloading the same mission). We've always had to exit and start fresh. Not sure why- or if there's a way around it... As for the one crashing at the start of the mission could be ping-timeouts... some servers have that feature disabled or at least prolonged.

Any solution for this crash? The multiplayer is unplayable at the moment because of it.

Try re-booting and/or going to another server.

If you read the upcoming version 1.2.3. patch notes they say the multiplayer crash will be fixed. Fingers crossed.
