I remember -- with an older iteration of the SU-27 Flanker franchise -- that there was some sort of A-A gun setting that would allow the pilot to keep the trigger squeezed until the radar would compute a trajectory that would guarantee a hit (considering the low amount of bullets the Flanker carries).

 

I haven't found such a setting in FC3. Are you aware of that or am I missing something?

Such a system was tested on a bunch of aircraft, but not used.

I was wondering because it was indeed in the old Su-27 Flanker and the Su-27 Flanker: Squadron Commander's Edition. One would think that because of this it would be a feature that would carry over to FC3 as well.

Ed tries to model real things, not stuff that doesn't work nor was used on aircraft....like GG said. So why carry over a feature that isn't used on any aircraft? Guess you will need to work on your aiming.
