Don't be too sure ;). And don't underestimate EOS.

But were some good fights that day.:cheer3nc: I hope the 51st continues its route with less server crashes. So more people get attrackted to some serious matches.

I was wondering what happens to the PRF once you go into STT or swap to TWS (and possibly bug him).. the indication definitely disappears from the bottom left. Haven't found any information related to this, can someone help me out? Thanks in advance!

With STT meaning the whole radar energy directed at a single target, I would assume PRF to be automatically managed according to target range and aspect (educated guess). TWS not displaying PRF is a different story though. I'm not an F-15 driver and I never use that mode on Russian fighters.

The in-game radar stays at whatever PRF you have set it to. For me, I have programmed a 3-position switch on my HOTAS to switch PRFs, so I always know which one I'm using even when the indication is not displayed.

The real radar manages PRF on its own, usually based on your selected VSD range, eg:

40 and 80 nm will normally use interleave, 20nm or less will use MPRF and 160nm will use HPRF - you can override these if you wish, but usually there's no need.

STT will almost always attempt to switch to HPRF (in this case the mode is called H+ IIRC). If the radar fails to transfer to H+ and you launch an AIM-7, FLOOD will automatically come on to illuminate the target.

Any time you launch an AIM-7 without a lock or not a valid H+ track, FLOOD comes on automatically.

Not likely. A DCS level module, yes, the FC3 one for DCS, I don't believe so.

Hmm. I thought the DCS:F-15 would be a DCS level module. Am I wrong?

Yes. The F-15 currently in development isn't DCS: F-15, it is DCS: F-15C Flaming Cliffs. It will be comparable to the Su-25 when it's done, that is, it will have an AFM but not the system modeling depth of, say, the DCS: A-10C.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.
