Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Can DWC World be installed on Windows 8? Are there are positive experiences after upgrading? Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
EtherealN Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I don't use it myself on 8, but yes, it works. Ratfink Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I'm not sure whether to put Win 8 or Win 7 on my new rig. I think I'll find WIn 8 'start screen' annoying without a touchscreen, but it does look quite good. Do you guys get used to it, with just a mouse? I'm quite satisfied with Win 7 so unless there's other benefits to Win 8, I may just go Win 7. PoleCat Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Get Windows 8 and then download Classic Shell http://www.classicshell.net/ and you will not have to get used to anything different. You can have both the classic start menu of your choice (Windows 7 if you prefer) as well as the Metro screen to choose from under Windows 8. Out http://www.104thphoenix.com/
