Hi all,

 

GetCMSPDisplay is released here.

 

Current version is : 1.00.00 beta

 

Results of CMSP Display are data that are sended via network or written in a plain text file.

 

With data, you'll make what you want... probably to display data for a CMSP panel....

Ahhh.. didn't see that. It glanced over it because of the french right before it in the parenthesis. Might want to look into an "access denied" page instead of "file not found" page in this scenario.

tacno, this is a fine piece of software! got it working with my interface software over udp and works great!

 

Thank you for that! Now I can finally throw out the monitor in the left console and fit in a LCD on i2c bus. Great work!

@Gremlin77 : Well seen, after administrator's rights aren't needed in normal use.

 

Carefull, if your Windows user isn't administrator and you use an another administrator user (with a different name) : shortcuts will be create on the another administrator user menu program.

my cmsp export prog

 

Hi,

 

testet your cmsp software and it works pretty well. But it was quite heavy to get it working and it had lot of latency. So I wrote my own in vb. I worked with teaching the programm every possible sign on the run for every place on the CMSP display. So, running the program the first time you have to "teach" every sign in, but switching all signs through, you get all at one run. This makes for the "worst" one 35 possibilities and the values are individual to your PC. So no real and slow text recognition is needed and the prog runs through in ms. Just have to add the UDP support, not a big thing to do.

 

When I finished, I will upload for testing....

Do you run it on normal mode, without debug and show frame ?

Did you change PERIOD value in config.ini file ?

Is Windows Aero Desktop shutdown ?

 

My PC is : i2600K @8x4,20GHz , RAM 16 GB (no swap disk) and Win7 pro, SSD for OS and SSD pour DCS.

Hi,

 

yes tried all of the things you mentioned. If you like, have a try with my program I wrote the last four days. Not perfect already but working quite well and fast. All you have to do is to install and then create an empty cmsp.txt file in a Folder c:\A10\.

 

Changing IP and Port needs programm restart after saving. you only have to fill in the export positions in the upper left corner (from your monitor.lua) and then adjust the positions so that the catches are good to read. When you click start, for every new sign there will be a popup which asks for the right charakter displayed at the red marked position. When you switched all possible charakters for every position through, you won't see this popup any more. For the second row, also adjust the position of the same letter that your prog uses. Then, take the value displayed in the current value field and write it to the corresponding field on the right side. repeat this witch all possible lines and blank. Then, don't forget to save....and have fun.

 

The UDP stream sends something like that: 1:first line;2:second line in period of Timer (300ms default)

 

 

If you have any questions, just ask. Trying to write a short instruction file the next days.
