Hi there,

Long time user of DCS products and lurker here on the forum.

Firstly I'd just like to thank you guys over at DCS for making one awesome simulating experience - the fidelity of the A-10c is incredible and I'm very much looking forward to your future study sim products!

However back on topic - I thought I'd take the plunge and sign up today to ask a question that I remember seeing raised before a while ago, however I'm not sure of the answer!

The question is simple - were the vapour trails in high-G manouvres removed for technical reasons? I have the latest version of DCS world (1.2.3) and was half expecting them to be back - but they are not. Its by no means the end of the world to me - I was just interested in if there is a reason or if this is a small bug?

Many thanks again!

Yes, they were removed for technical reasons. They should be returned at some point.

Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D

I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda

Thanks for the quick reply fella! I thought it may be something like that!

Cheers,

So they still not back? That's a disappointment.

No, not yet... keep in mind ED is working on new effects and I believe this is going to be one of them.
