Sn8ke Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I have experienced this issue in multi-player, haven't tested it in single player missions. This is for the latest update, 1.2.3. When I try to load a different weapons load-out or simply try to reload weapons when returning to base, the ground crew acknowledges and then weapons DO NOT appear on their respective pylons. Is this a known issue? Asus Prime Gaming Wifi7 // Intel 14900K @5.5GHz // 64Gb DDR5 6000MHz // 3090 RTX // 4TB Samsung NVME M.2
Jona33 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Are you using the old radio menu. If so, stop using that and use the new menu by pressing Lalt+' Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
Sn8ke Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 Are you using the old radio menu. If so, stop using that and use the new menu by pressing Lalt+' Initially used the old radio menu, now I just tried the new menu, same problem. I auto updated to 1.2.3, and to clarify, this is in the A-10C. Asus Prime Gaming Wifi7 // Intel 14900K @5.5GHz // 64Gb DDR5 6000MHz // 3090 RTX // 4TB Samsung NVME M.2
BRooDJeRo Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Engine off, cockpit open and external lights off?
Sn8ke Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 Engine off, cockpit open and external lights off? Yes, and have tried it cockpit open, APU running, radios on as well. In the dcs a-10c section of this forum, there are a handful of post detailing this same issue. There seems to not be a quick fix, I'm thinking this is a bug relating to the 1.2.3 update. Everything else is fine(accept aim-120's), I even think performance is a bit more optimized reference FPS. bn880 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 FYI: You can have your engines on for rearming in the A10C, it's for repair that you need them off and cooled. But yeah, no idea what to say other than, it must be some bug OR the airport does not have those weapons in stock. Try looking carefully at the numbers available for each bomb when selecting each pylon's loadout. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Sn8ke Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) Update: I think many of us were confused as to the proper keyboard combination for the new intercom panel. LAlt ' is the correct one, not LAlt ` or LAlt + `. It is working properly for me now. BRooDJeRo Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Cool you got it to work and yes, with a community driven 1st line helpdesk for common problems, you need a slight form of imagination indeed sometimes.

Both the old method via radio and new one via LALT+' did not work for us. TBH my engines were running and canopy was closed. Last server we tried this on was 104th IIRC where you start without any ordinance on you. EDIT: Joined 104th again and tried rearming without touching anything else - works. Huh... that a new feature? BRooDJeRo Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Engine off, Canopy open, LCtrl + ' Thatś the magic formula ruling out you have no static cats running on your keyboard pretending theyŕe your best friend, but does the same trick at the neighbours place...
acino Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 For me, engines can be running (except for when repairing). The canopy must be open, though.
BRooDJeRo Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 It must be very comfortable for the groundcrew roling in and attaching fresh GBU's 1 meter from a running turbofan sucking tons of air in even at idle.
