JHzlwd Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 I already have DCS World and purchased a couple of aircraft modules. All running very nicely on PC"A". I would like to install all of this on PC "B". I realize I have enough license usages left to do this right now but would rather re-purchase the aircraft modules to get the additional license usages. So, the question is: If I use my existing account do the new licenses just go in there and if so is there a conflict? I'd hope the new licenses are in *addition* to the old ones. If there is a conflict, should I set up a different account with unique user information? I am happy to do that if necessary. BigfootMSR Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 The way I understand it is that each key will have 10 activations. So, yes, purchasing a new key will indeed give you more activations, but only for that key. However, keep in mind the way the DRM works is that 30 days AFTER you have used your LAST activation, you will automatically be granted 1 activation. So, technically, you wont ever run out of them. As for the conflict issues, I'm afraid I don't know anything about any conflicts that would come up. I don't think you can be logged into the same account on 2 different machines at the same time. Though I am not 100% sure of that. joey45 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 One license per PC.. You can't have the same license on 2 PCs The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. JHzlwd Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 One license per PC.. You can't have the same license on 2 PCs OK. Thanks for confirming that. I am good to go with purchasing another one on my existing account and using that with the 2nd PC. Irregular programming Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 One license per PC.. You can't have the same license on 2 PCs This is incorrect, you are free to install any amount of copies of the program. You are however not allowed to use them on the same time.
