LC34 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Taking the plunge to buy one after 15 years of flight simming. Which do you guys recommend? Also, besides rudder pedals is there anything I should get for DCS and FC3? System specs and accesories located below. AMD Ryzen 7 7800X#D 64 GB Ram MSI RTX 4090 Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS
Pyroflash Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 TIR 5 is definitely an improvement over the 4, but the 4 is perfectly fine if you don't want to spend the extra money. However, one thing is certain regardless which one you want to buy. You will want to have the optional Track Clip Pro. Otherwise, the 5 has a higher resolution than the 4. This being its biggest selling point. There are other, more subtle improvements, however they will not have as big of an impact as this. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
dburne Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I would agree, since it sounds like you are buying your first one now, might as well get the latest and greatest - the TIR5.
