PLAAF Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 OK, I have found La-7 manual, upload it here just in case maybe one day ED will decide that it can be the next WW2 era fighter, hope this can be of help. Secondly, it can be a nice reading material for fans who are interested in this  Enjoy. Also as a respond to EtherealN from http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=103182&page=4 :smilewink: Download link is below: http://rapidshare.com/files/3744383919/La-7%20Manual.zip My Adorable Communist Errand Girls Led by me, the Communist Errand Panda
EtherealN Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 A respond to me? What I see here is some sort of book about the aircraft, which was not what we were discussing. ;) As far as I can see it's not even a pilot manual, it's some sort of oversized pamphlet that could just as well have been a popular magazine series. What we were discussing, as far as making DCS modules of an aircraft, was that not even a pilot manual is sufficient ( http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1710058&postcount=30 ), there is a need of test data, wind tunnels etcetera - real information that allows the developlment of a simulation of real world aircraft behaviour as well as internal system specifications. Pilot manuals do not contain this information, and this document here isn't even a pilot manual... Also I am still trying to find that La-5FN manual I have misplaced. Those 2 are very similar. I am sure we can get La-7 work if we do a bit more research and cross referencing. PLAAF do you have the Mi-24 manual?? thank and downloading the LA-7 manual. No I don't have it. The only chopper manual I had is the Mi-8 which I have uploaded in the forum a few week ago. My Adorable Communist Errand Girls Led by me, the Communist Errand Panda
EtherealN Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 I know mate. But still, it is very detailed which I think can help. Sorry, but your idea of what "detail" is is unfortunately mistaken. There's is nothing in here that helps in any significant way towards making a DCS simulation. It doesn't even get you something like IL-2... Wait until I find my La-5 manual. I am going to ransack my house if I have to. Also maybe we can ask the team who were planning to make Storm of War series to help. They are nice people, I am sure they wouldn't turn us down. :) My Adorable Communist Errand Girls Led by me, the Communist Errand Panda

Cool none the less... when you find something with lots of charts and curves, and you dont understand any of it, then you know you have found something useful :) 1 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
