Please note:

Pilots can move vehicles.

1. You should move our forces up to Alpha when it is safe and take the objective.

2. Move own forces up again to Bravo to take rebel camp.

3. If our units are lost, you will not win the campaign.

Just finished playing this in back too back missions on the aef server, all spots filled and it went great. And I think its up again.

Excellent mission. The Huey pilots had a lot of work to do and every one on comms giving them stick for any failed pickups.

Really brought the Huey into the mission environment.

Yes I enjoy the newspaper as a way of introduction into the scenario.

Thanks to all involved.

Thanks for the feedback. The intent was to give those Hueys some work! Glad you enjoyed it.

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Thanks WildBillKelsoe, I would have also loved to include voice-overs but, the mission will be too large for MP.

I have noticed that some guys forget to move the UN forces up to capture the objectives, voice-overs would have given more info on the battlefield and prevent that.

Eh Midnight- I just wanted to let you know I love the idea that you had with the mission brief / updates and the news articles. I wish I'd thought of it.

I really enjoy the concept of "ambiance" in the mission development process... the painting of the picture. I think it helps to get people focused on what's going on and sort of the theme for the mission. Adds some life.

Anyway, bravo!

Some good pics there Bos Toe, we need a bit more info though.

What does the whole area look like? It is also believed that there is a heliport nearby...sry mate, mission half a success.

Did you manage to insert the seal team..kinda important that.

Think the links should be working now...

Still need some more recon on that missile site before I can continue with next mission.

It's a simple mission....fly to TGT...take a screeny...return home. No need to do the chopper flights.

Hey Midnight, I will get some guys together to fly this properly...more to this mission than I thought. It is more suited for a squadron I think.

Do you need a debrief as well? Might be simpler if we describe the area in conjunction with the pics.

Thanks

Not really necessary for a briefing, just more info on the missile site will do.

My logic tells me there must be control building of sorts to launch the missiles from. I mean it will be suicide to destroy the missile itself, targeting those buildings would make more sense.

Thing is, I can not continue to next mission without the correct intelligence.

Good luck man and thanks for participating.

Be great if you could have a major cross party co-op campaign while using DCS and the forums example "player pilot A take recon photos" "player pilot B destroy them targets." Targets destroyed then all five or so players see the new updated feed with them targets destroyed and every action they take will automatically be updated to everyone else just dreaming tho.
