prefetch Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) Dear Dev's since DCS World ver123 came out all 32 bit systems get memory crash on a constant bases, on or off line. can we expect any fix or patch for win32bit systems or are we just SOL? part of the "i can't afford to upgrade at this moment crowd" i really have to laugh it when people use the euphemism "evolve" for spend money on a new system Edited April 3, 2013 by prefetch prefetch [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 7700K, Win-8.1(wufuc), DCSW OB, FC3, CA, PG-map, Syria-map, Normandy-map, WWII-assetspack, Bf 109 K-4, MiG-21bis, MiG-19P, Mi-8MTV2, BS2,
pacotito Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) I wouldn't plan on a fix other than the ones already mentioned in the forums. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1084420&postcount=8 They are going to 64bit only in the near future. I think if you have win7 you can download the 64bit version and use the same windows serial. Edited April 3, 2013 by pacotito Pacotito I7-5820k@4.5 Z99 extreme4 16gb ddr4 520gb ssd. _Dredd Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 My understanding though is the 64 versions is still a 32bit application compatible with 64 OS. So it has the same memory issues, etc as the 32bit version. I hope the 64 application is released very soon :) Current Flight Rig i7 4960X @ 4.6Ghz ASUS Rampage IV Formula G.SKILL TridentX 2400Mhz 32GB DDR3 Crucial 1TB MX300 SSD MSI Gaming X 1080Ti Samsung 55" JS8000 SUHD 4K Windows 10 x64 TrackIR 5, Warthog HOTAS Saitek Pro Flight Combat Pedals Custom Akers-Barnes, MkI eyeball.
GGTharos Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 It's a 64 bit application. It won't run at all on a 32-bit system. The installer will choose a 32bit version of the application (which would also run on a 64 bit system) if you install it on a 32 bit system, otherwise it will install the 64 bit version. pacotito Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I'm pretty sure it is a 64bit app although in not 100% sure. I could be wrong. Ha ha sniped. Well there is the official response. Pacotito I7-5820k@4.5 Z99 extreme4 16gb ddr4 520gb ssd. Gigabyte ssc GTX960 SSC 4gb
