JTAC "Mark" and "lase" is broken

I have done a LOT of testing and am very confident that the above functionality is broken. When attempting to use JTAC "Mark" with smoke (using armored units, as directed in the revised manual), I inevitably get a "Mark...No Mark" communication from JTAC. Same with JTAC laser-designation, which, even when properly set up, gives me either "Mark...No Mark" or an unwarranted "Terminate" command.

 

I will not create missions with these functions until this is either acknowledged or fixed. Please, will somebody address this? Thanks.

I'm trying also to make Buddy Lasing with Predator (JTAC), is this function still broken ?

 

JTAC always gives me UTM coordinates, no LASER MARK. Options are well set in the ME.

 

Can anyone can confirm ?

I can tell you that JTAC marks are completely busted for Predator. Im going to try a few other units today and see whats up with those.

See this post and try the sample missions. It's possible that the latest version of DCS has broken something but they were working at the time of that post.

 

I don't know if JTAC was ever setup for the Predator and the OH-58 won't lase or mark with WP either.

 

I think we need someone from ED to confirm what JTAC has been implemented to work with. I know there is a mod for the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

in the previous version the OH-58, A10C (AI) or other chopper or aircraft AFAC, it was able to spot by laser or IR, tobay this function run only with vehicles or human unfortunatlly.

I tried your first sample Mission in the actual 1.5.2 build which works fine. If I try to create a new one the JTAC is always Messaging no mark even if i set him to lase and the target is in his FOV.

 

I added my simple example. Is there anything wrong in my settings?
