Exorcet Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Not quite the same, but online I was parked with engines off refueling and a helicopter decided to hover around me for no reason. After getting pointlessly close and ramming into me, the pilot lost a rotor blade and spiraled off into the distance before crashing. Then the server announced that I had made a team kill. Needs a bit of tweaking. zarthrag Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 *snip*active pausing...*snip* I look up, and see my wingman flying straight into me. Boom. Then the message. Harsh. I guess I'll just delete my profile and start afresh.. THIIIIIS! When learning new systems, I *used* to use active pause. Now I just start the mission over.
NeilWillis Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 If you were a real world pilot and committed fratricide, what do you think your chances of continuing any military career at all might be? If you ask me, it isn't a high penalty at all when you look at it that way. And as someone said before on this thread, it's easiest not to shoot at the good guys! Alternatively, when testing, create a new pilot and let him take the flak. :music_whistling: :music_whistling: :music_whistling:
ED Team NineLine Posted January 23, 2015 ED Team Posted January 23, 2015 Maybe a tweak could be done, such as a 3 strikes rule, instead of 1 strike and you're out... Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Pikey Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 My wife asked me if she looked OK in some new trousers she got. I said, "hmm, they are a bit baggy". Then BAM, the Fratricide message popped up. 1 ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *

Well that one you deserved ;) Any Fratricide penalty system is going to be issued in error at times, but sometimes you just deserve it :) Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
