Sorry etherealn but the ones that paid with credit card? I can see transaction only at 15th of may . Can we have confirmation the period for second payment has been extended? Sorry for bothering but too many posts get confused. Maybe would be a good thing that ed send a mail correcting date and who has to do the second payment.

We have been able to confirm that the paypal purchases did come through properly.

 

We have tracked some Paypal repurchases. Those will be refunded now. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. It might be a few days before the refund appears on your Paypal accounts.

Just to be clear: did you pay with CC via Sagepay, or did you pay with CC via Paypal?

 

If the latter, you can safely ignore this.

I'll get more details ASAP.

As a paypal payer, you can simply ignore this. Sending the message out to you was a mistake.

If you did use the link to "buy again", you should also be able to just ignore this - we've already initiated refunds for those that did this. Might be a few bank days for this to process through the banking system though.

I took no action at all, I wanted to wait to see how things pan out so I take it I can forget all about it? There seems to be no transaction in my cart, like the email said there would be, so I assume the answer is 'yes'

So, they have even started issuing refunds to those who have paid twice, yet ED are still unable to respond to the support ticket I issued? They haven't even had the decency to send an email around saying the whole thing was a huge mistake!

Meanwhile I've spent all week phoning up my bank, Paypal, etc. It's not free, you know!

 

Not even an apology! Thanks ED, for ruining my week! :(

Your ticket is one of about half a thousand that came in within a few hours... It does take timee to get through them, unfortunately, when so many comes in within so little time.

What is your ticket number?

I also got this email, and the money is withdrawn and not refunded. There is also no money reserved, my internet bank has a section for this and the record that used to be there is gone. I also clearly have a payment of ca $40 from my payment date earlier in April. I paid by CC via Sagespay.

 

I have also had a ticket open with the support since the day the email was sent out, no reply whatsoever.

 

Despite how much i love your simulator, i refuse to pay twice for it.

the intermediary payment between you and me, it's paypal, not me or my bank, so it is with them that you have to see what problems, not me or my bank. and it is not in my bank account I see the refund but paypal first. Actually paypal say for the moment the payment is past and collected by Eagle Dynamics

Same here, I already wrote a ticket for this very issue to ED a while ago, and as of yet got no reply at all from ED!

 

The payments of $39.99 and $29.99 for FC3 and BS2 left my bank account a few days after my paypal payments (which both say 'Completed') I can see no refund back to my bank or Paypal account.. Therefore you were paid! My bank balance to this day shows the payment left my account.

 

It seems from today i've been blocked from online. Time to open a Paypal dispute!? :(

I also payed, paypal took the mones from my creditcard, creditcard took the money from my bankaccount. I opened also a ticket.

 

But with this thread I thought there is only a problem between paypal and ED and we customers are "out" of this.

 

Will see ... if they block .. that would be too bad cause I bought some modules only to support ED and never flew it ...

Well I had no problems with online play up to today.. I just switched the computer on, ran DCS World (it updated) but I can't log in to any servers. Unless I was early getting the update and the servers haven't updated yet.. But I've never had that happen before...

 

I'll go try a few more servers now and see. I've opened disputes for both of my perchases FC3 and BS2.

 

 

EDIT *Yes, no matter what server I try I get 'Connection interupted' I've never had this problem before, so I can only assume this is something to do with ED asking me to pay again before the 5th May.*

 

There goes my evenings plans :(

Well seeing as I opened my ticket on 29th April and got no reply regarding this, i'll try here.........

I have checked this with my Paypal account. Payment of $39.99 completed 9th April 2013. Paypal payment of £27.04 ($39.99) left my bank account on the 11th April 2013 - My bank has confirmed this and nothing has returned to either my Paypal or bank account account. My payment was complete.

I have also checked this with my Paypal account. Payment of $29.99 completed 12th April 2013. Paypal payment of £20.09 ($29.99) left my bank account on the 16th April 2013 - My bank has confirmed this and nothing has returned to either my Paypal or bank account account. Received my refund the other day. I know you guys are slammed on tickets right now regarding the issue, but I just wanted to thank you guys for handling it quickly.

No, it is not related to this.

This is most likely a server issue (the specific game server), a connection issue, or a configuration issue. Please ensure that you select "LAN" as connection speed in the multiplayer screen - NOTE: connection speed, not server list method. This solves most such problems when they are caused by excessive traffick due to the new ground unit system required by Combined Arms in missions that has a lot of them. (However, the person that operates the server should also have this option selected.)

 

All relevant double-purchases that went via Paypal should already have their refund underway. There might however be some variance on when they reach your account. (I once tried to understand why the international banking system does what it does, but I gave up.)

Yes the 'connection interrupted' problem seems to have gone away by itself. I've not had any connection problems before and the dates tied in. I will withdraw my Paypal dispute.

 

This issue could have been avoided, if ED had responded to my ticket to tell me they got my payment.

Well I opened a Paypal dispute. The matter is now resolved for me and I closed the dispute. They did get my Paypal payments. Time to get back to playing FC3 & BS2 :D
