Welcome both of you to the forum.

Maybe the server was down for a short time? I am having no issues login in to the module manager.

double check firewall, and password / login name it should be the same as the one you use to login to http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/

Thank you BIGNEWY for your warm reception.

Funnily enough after 2 days i had everything working, both the Module Manager as well as Multiplayer. Then, last Saturday without me doing anything in particular i couldnt login into MP and Module Manage anymore.

Since then, I have done the following:

-Re-installed the game to boot drive (SSD)

-Added all .exe files to the firewall exceptions list

-Added the DCS folder to the Antivirus (do not scan) list

-Deleted network.cfg from C:\Users\Userame\Saved Games\DCS\Config

-Deleted cookie.txt from C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\DCS

The latter 2 were advised by ED customer support the first time i contacted them.

Unfortunately none of this worked. :(

When i opened another ticket last weekend, ED told me to delete my antivirus all together, but i refuse to do that. The license is recent and i paid 55€ for it. Not gonna flush that down the toilet. There must be another solution!

In case you were wondering, i have Bitfender Total Security 2015

Have the almighty people in this forum got solutions? Any suggestion would be welcome.

Cheers

Well, you can try to get Bitdefender support to fix their "AntiDCS" suite as it obviously has a false positive?

These things happen with antivirus software, especially if it uses heuristics, which most do, to secure against new malware.

Yet a false positive is something the AV developer needs to fix/whitelist...
