No confirmation e-mail for DCS - Huey!!

Hi,

 

 

Unlike all my other DCS products, .. I did not/have not received a confirmation e-mail of my purchase of the DCS Huey. :huh:

 

I have installed the Huey without any problems, and activated it via the serial number provided at time of purchase.

 

However, .. I'm a little concerned that there is no confirmation of my purchase, .. as per the standard e-mail etc., .. which serves as proof of my purchase, as well as providing my serial number, .. for future reference.

 

My e-mail address is the same as it has always been, .. so nothing has changed as far as that is concerned.

 

Is this perhaps related to the 'purchase' issues you were having in April?

 

Please advise soonest .. so that I can set my mind at ease. :helpsmilie:

To sleep a little better:

 

Log into the Digital Combat Simulator page, click payments and then you get an overview of your purchases. Make a screenshot of this page including the newly bought UH-1H Huey module and use this as proof until the mail problem has sorted.

Perhaps check your spam inbox. it may have gone there inadvertently..

As long as you purchased on the site, your proof of purchase is registered on the servers.

 

If, in the future, you lose your e-mail details and cannot retrieve them, you can still retrieve the account through supplying known purchase details - like the last digits of the card used for purchase.

Happened to me more then once with mail coming from ED so it's possible.
