cichlidfan Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 hey guys, Reaper put together a quick maverick tutorial, it would be great if you could check it out Silent Cobra :pilotfly: Thanks, I am sure many newer A-10 pilots would be interested. Silent Cobra Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 Sorry, I forgot, I've added it in but will post it here
Hamblue Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Consider updating it and cutting out the prep mistakes and using auto pilot during the approach. Fighting the joystick while targeting and diving in isn't what newcomers should be doing. Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600. Ebs Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 More of a trainwreck than a tutorial. Sorry. And commiserations about getting a G940. Check out my guide to JSGME for DCS World.

rss0900 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) hey guys, Reaper put together a quick maverick tutorial, it would be great if you could check it out Silent Cobra :pilotfly: Thanks, I can't understand half of it not sure if it's the dialect or the voice inflection, but there's a lot of swearing in the video. I appreciate videos that are more professional personally. Edited May 4, 2013 by rss0900
Guest Izoul123 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I'm going to give you a thumbs up for 'effort'. I would not recommend this as a tutorial for 'sim mode' version of this sim...maybe for 'game mode', or someone who 'just wants to blow shit up fast' after downloading it on steam, or someone who doesn't have even a simple HOTAS configuration. You're on the right track, but this wouldn't be what I'd recommend for 'study sim' material. Not trying to discourage you, but you're not quite to the realm of making 'tutorial' level vids for a 'study sim'. But again, props for 'trying'....just a bit 'bold' to call this a tutorial...
Hamblue Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Agreed that he at least has the gumption to make a tutorial. Best advice is to actually learn the subject before offering training on it.:pilotfly: Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600.
