ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 7, 2013 ED Team Posted May 7, 2013 Hi something I wanted to ask I landed the huey with the intention of finishing off the remaining enemy soft skin vehicles and infantry using the door gunner position. As soon as you switch position the auto pilot kicks in and crashes you. Should it do this or is it a bug? Seems silly for the copilot to take over when the huey is on the ground :) Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Fuzzy_bear Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I encountered the same. But when I switched to the co-pilot seat and disabled the AP I found I could move to any seat without it re-engaging.(not a good idea while in the air though shout all you want from the gunner position she won't stay in the air)
alfredo_laredo Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Same Happened to me after a long mission today. Autopilot should be completly deactivated if you are on the ground. A.K.A. Timon -117th- in game
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 16, 2013 Author ED Team Posted May 16, 2013 I had a quick fly in single player version 1.2.4.12179.160, landed and switched to right gunner, the copilot did not react and I had a blast with the door gunner on some soft targets :) Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
