I have two Monitors 1920x1080 with a problem of splitting the Resolution to the two Monitors.

The DCS manual says:

RESOLUTION. Select the resolution that the game will be played in. Note that the Aspect radio will automatically be set to best match the selected resolution. For users with a multi-monitor setup, the total resolution can be entered manually.

ASPECT. The aspect ratio of the display will automatically be set to the current Resolution, but it may also be entered manually.

For Monitors I chose: CAMERA + LMFCD

For Resolution: I suppose I have to add the width of both monitors to the following: 3840x1080, so the ASPECT RATIO was automatically set to 3.5555555555556, which is weird because all other RATIO options including my standard 16:9 have a ":" instead of ".". Here is the option of entering the RATIO manually NOT available! So with this setting DCS crashed every time I started a mission. Also crashed with 16:9 RATIO.

I have a very powerful Computer and Graphic Card and is working fine with multi-Monitor on FSX. So am I setting the wrong resolution here or is it something else?

My DxDiag - MSconfig is attached

16:9 format, 1920 x 1080 resolution is 1.777777778 ratio

Are you trying to run multi-monlitor with Fullscreen (ingame setting) on? If so, turn it off

Thanks a lot Wolf, I was indeed running the Monitor in Full Screen, because I was used to FSX, where it's the opposite. Now I can really enjoy my second Monitor...

In the Monitor Set-Up Guide of yours, did I get it right, that it is possible to combine the Shkval_MFCD & Abris_MFCD in ONE secondary Monitor?

Thanks for the thought, but the guide isn't my work... I only linked you to a thread which may help you further.

Glad you got it basically sorted :)
