Biggles07 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) Or any other sim for that matter? Doesn't seem to be recognised in any sim I have. I'd like to set it for 'gear up/down' for the Hog, as my keyboard is out to the left of me due to lack of space on desktop.....awkward when you want to lift gear ASAP after takeoff. Do you need to make a TARGET script or something? Or maybe it already has some esoteric function in the Hog that I don't know about. I don't think it does though, and that its probably an 'extra'? Cheers for any help. :) EDIT: Just had an idea, there is a button depress function on the flaps switch, suppose I could use that instead, but would prefer to use the china hat depress button really. pj Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 interesting, I didn't know it had a depress. I use slew depress to toggle labels. Nopileus Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Neither the China Hat nor the flap switch have a pushbutton.
Beaver McFanny Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I'm afraid Nopelius is correct Biggles. The Hotas switches can be depressed slightly, but it is just the way they are made (spring loading maybe). I just use the red push button on the left throttle for gear up/gear down. Biggles07 Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 Neither the China Hat nor the flap switch have a pushbutton. Right....that would explain it then. :)Its just the fact that I can push them in very easily as if they were designed as push buttons that made me have a sneaky suspicion it might have actually been by design. Obviously not then, lol. They do a very good impression of push buttons though (especially the flap switch when pressed down). :) I wonder if you can do the same with the boat switch (probably, though haven't tried it) Thanks for info. :) EDIT: Cheers Beaver too. Biggles07 Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 Bingo Yes of course, and that's why I thought they might also be push buttons hehe. Come to think of it, might not have been a bad idea though. Two extra Hotas buttons, the more the merrier. :) ♫ ' Papa was a hairy mole.....Wherever he dug a den was his home ' ♫
