  1. yes this would be very useful
  2. Thanks, I think I figured it out - I was using AGM-65D in VIS mode, symbology showed a circle instead of a square. I was able to create a mark point ok.
  3. It also doesn't seem to work using HUD/helmet sight, TMS does not change LAT/LON from zeroes
  4. brakes are working much better now after yesterday's patch, using the Warthog paddle switch
  5. I just had this problem in 2.7 open beta, stable release worked ok. What fixed it for me was removing the Viggen through mod manager, then deleting the AJS37 folder from the DCS World open beta program folder (not saved games), then reinstalling with mod manager.
  6. I was an avionics tech (COM/NAV/ECM) on the FB-111A, would love to see one in DCS!
  7. What I don't understand is why didn't they just use the symbology from the A-10C pod? It's just a stopgap, after all, and already in the sim.
  8. right - what I meant was I have to use the mouse wheel to turn the knob to uncage, before left-clicking would uncage then the wheel would adjust the horizon line
  9. What good is radar without cows? I want my cows, dammit!
  10. Hi all, after reading through this I set my TrackIR speed setting to .8, it definitely made a difference. It is no longer so twitchy.
  11. Sometimes switching TACAN to REC then T/R will unjam it. Turning it off works too.
  12. You can plug the jetseat audio into the computer speaker output, then plug the buttkicker into the jetseat audio output. With the jetseat in usb mode audio will pass through and drive the buttkicker. You will not have any special effects on the buttkicker, just the audio rumble.
  13. I received my Jetseat 908 Saturday and have been testing it since. What a great piece of gear! I plugged my Buttkicker into the audio output and have been using both together, the Buttkicker for general vibrations and the Jetseat to emphasize effects, together they bring so much life to the sim - I can't imagine flying without them anymore!
  14. I use the left throttle for nozzle, right for throttle, friction lever for nozzle stop
  15. TM Warthog stick, F-18 module: using ECM switch for weapon select, only right-click works. using TMS switch for ACM modes, none work. all non working functions show red in configuration page after being rebound.
  16. I reported this same problem but have not found a solution: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=217881
  17. for jets & helos, Warthog stick & throttle. for props, Warthog stick & CH throttle quadrant CH rudder pedals & wheelstand with joystick adapter for all
  18. Thanks for the advice guys. The problem is it used to work but doesn't anymore. The problem is on my flight sim computer. I installed DCS and the Spitfire on my laptop to test it and it works fine, so probably not a bug.
  19. I noticed with the Spitfire that using TrackIR Z as zoom is not working correctly - it acts the same as the Head Tracker: Foreward/Backward axis. Head position inside the cockpit moves but the outside view does not change. I assigned Zoom to an axis on my CH Throttle Quadrant and it worked as it should. This happens in both Beta and Release versions. I tested some other aircraft and found the same issue with the P-51, Yak-52 and Harrier. Using TrackIR Z as Zoom works correctly with the A-10C and F-18. Has anyone else noticed this?
  20. You could try to schedule the update with Windows Task Scheduler, it's still available in Windows 10 but I'm not sure how to set it up to answer the prompts... edit: under the trigger tab you can set the time to kick off the task, under actions browse to the dcs updater program, it can definitely be done
  21. Do the F-14's wings auto sweep? I think the computer in the FB-111A had magnetic core memory, that's about all I know about it. There was a wing sweep handle on the pilot''s side, along the canopy. I worked on comm/nav/ecm systems.
